A little more modern, and more distinctive than much of what is known from MÜHLE, they are made from the finest and most durable stainless steel. But it has been worth the effort: These products are particularly durable and robust. This razor features a handy twist function that releases the cap with a simple twist of the small wheel at the end of the handle. The bottom plate of the head remains firmly attached to the handle, whilst the top plate will become detached. This allows used blades to be removed safely and replaced with new ones and makes the cleaning process easier The use of natural material ensures that each product is unique, the handle's graining adding individual character to each brush, razor and set. The surface structure of the handle is a modern interpretation of the knurl on the handle of a classic safety razor. The honeycomb-like structure not only provides a contrasting accent to the satin-finished stainless steel, but is also very tactile, offering excellent grip. Measures The R41 is plated with a high-quality chrome. Chrome is what gives the razor its luster, if you clean it regularly the shine will stay fresh for a long time.

Unlike the traditional R41, the R41TWIST's blade is released with a simple turn of the small wheel found at the base of the handle. The open comb remains firmly attached to the handle and used blades can then be safely removed and replaced.

The Grande gets a nice bump in weight to almost 3.2 ounces, this is almost a 50% increase which you will definitely notice.

Who Is The Grande Good For?

The standard Muhle R41, the R41 Grande and the R41 twist are all made with chrome plated brass handles and chrome plated zinc alloy heads.
