About this deal

I really like the environment and the graphics, it’s a relaxing world, at least if you forget all the monsters that want to eat you.

You can have one other NPC character to fight along side you, and while the AI is not perfect, it seems to be pretty decent and they actually help you turn the tide of battle in your favor. Collecting the old product which is officially counted as WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). Of course you can get through it a lot faster if you want, but I was trying to milk it for all I could get. On the positive side, the jetpack is fun, especially after you upgrade it with sprint jets, which allow you to zoom over the terrain like a missile. Explore the planet of Magalan with unprecedented freedom, using your trusted jetpack to traverse the map and even fly!A fire mage, whose slow fireballs rarely hit anything, and a small robot, whose sniper shots deal relatively low damage, but thankfully usually hit the intended target. I don't have a monster PC, but still the framerates are so low for a game that looks like it was made in 2010 on a low budget.

The combat is enjoyable and fairly difficult, as many of the enemies will have 1-3 skulls by their name, conveying that they are going to be a difficult opponent. If that's you, your take from the game may be different than someone new to the series and you'll likely have a blast, especially if you loved the first game. Berzerkers went from Viking hippies to just hippies and the Outlaws are just as useless as in the first game. The demands are way too high for the frequency of ability points you obtain, making it hard to feel like you're making much progression. This keeps me playing, at least for now, but really: both the Gothic and the Risen series had better combat and equally satisfying character progression.

Magic seems to also be useless, at least for the Berzerker faction, as most guns you will get will deal more damage by the time you advance well enough into the game to get magic. If you're new to the series, you may want to bone up on YouTube videos about ELEX I before diving into an interesting, multi-faceted world albeit one fraught with performance and graphical issues. Elex II is not without its flaws and some of them can sometimes be quite jarring, but underneath them all is a nice action RPG that gets more than a few things right and that can provide many, many hours of entertainment. Earlier today, I was fascinated and incredulous, as I watched my cyborg companion utterly failing to land a single hit against a tough enemy. My only major complaints holding it back from an 8 are that they went very, very heavy-handed with the skill and stat points system. It's tedious, confusing, and can be wildly frustrating, as you will find yourself busting through a lot of lock picks on even so much as an easy lock unless you really get the feel for it. Makes sense, no problem (apart from the fact that you are WAY too weak to do that, and she won’t join forces with you until you do).

I don't know why, but that's the closest game my mind can compare it to, with a mixture of like Fallout 3 or New Vegas. Then you’ll be pleased to know that we offer flexible payment options including PayPal Credit and Klarna Pay in 3.

ELEX II is the sequel to ELEX, the vintage open-world role-playing experience from the award-winning creators of the Gothic and Risen series, Piranha Bytes.
