About this deal

Im not going to cover the plug in this. The plug was quite obviously not fit for purpose. It was a non EU standard, un-fused and totally ridiculous plug so we'll leave it at that. What i wanted to cover, are the differences in external and internal quality. I'm not going to go too far into things at board component level because i simply don't have the time, but i will cover what's needed. Apologies for the delay! Its been a busy week and I've been keen to get on this but the needs of the business must come before the explanation of a competitors failings! To examine the performance of the chargers, I have directly monitored charging current and voltage with a data-logging DMM - but on separate runs. While plotted together, these means the voltage and current traces may not exactly correspond in time.

Li-ion/IMR/LiFePO4: 10340, 10350, 10440, 10500, 12340, 12500, 12650, 13450, 13500, 13650, 14350, 14430, 14500, 14650, 16500, 16345 (RCR123), 16650, 17350, 17500, 17650, 17670, 18350, 18490, 18500, 18650, 18700, 20700, 21700, 22500, 22650, 25500, 26500, 26650 and Ni-MH (NiCd): AA, AAA, AAAA, C, D. In terms of choosing between the two models, it largely comes down to what your needs are. The i4 has a larger max charging current, leading to shorter charging times. However, the i2 would be more suitable for lower capacity cells (e.g., RCR, 14500, and AAA), due to the slightly lower charging current. Effectively, both units can only fully charge two wells at a time (i.e., the i4 has to alternate the current between paired wells). Overall, the Nitecore Intellicharger i4 is a must-have for all your rechargeable batteries. It is simple to use and charge. You can trust Nitecore to deliver a safe, fast, and efficient charge to all your rechargeable batteries, but for Vapers, Nitecore is definitely the right choice. ( not to mention their new battery!)

Nitecore i4 Intellicharger - 4 Bay Battery Charger

The problem is that most battery chargers won’t alert the user to the improper insertion. The Nitecore i4 does, and it does so immediately. All the LED lights above the battery slot light up and blink when the battery was inserted upside down. This won’t prevent every incident, sometimes people are in such a hurry the battery will go in the wrong way and the user walks away without even looking. But, at least now if the user hangs around for even a second, the chances of noticing the blinking lights are greater. Lisa loves this feature by the way, and has caught herself 4 times since she began using her i4.

smd mosfet που πρέπει να αντικατασταθεί, το έχω παραγγείλει, αν ειναι οκ μετα την αντικατάσταση θα το γραψω. Okay, thanks for the replies. I do kinda like the look of that D4, but too bad its just as sloooooowwwww. To ensure your safety and maintain the battery’s life and durability, we recommend you follow these rules:Notice anything? I immediately spotted a few things in customer photos posted on social media before i even had one to play with. The positive posts on the charger are too far sunk into the casing and don't sit flush with it either. There are gaps all around them, the genuine ones are a tight fit. On arrival, it's more pronounced than i thought. They're also very uneven wobbly. We'll see why later...

For me, the biggest improvement of the new Nitecore i4 is the 100% acceleration of the charging time. My older i4 has a maximum output of 750mA, the new i4 is a full 1500mA. That means that batteries charge up twice as fast as the older model. This is a huge deal for Vapers that have a lot of batteries in play.

Shipping, Delivery & Returns

The Nitecore charger automatically detects when non-rechargeable batteries have been installed and notifies the user with four flashing LEDs. Do not over-discharge or overcharge the battery. Doing so will shorten the battery’s life and sometimes, it can make it pop or leak. The NEW i4 can intelligently select the most appropriate charging current based on automatic battery capacity detection. Naturally, Vapers are not the only people that need battery chargers, but Nitecore knows that of all the various batteries that are rechargeable, the “Vape Battery” (18650, 18500, 18350, 26650) are a big part of their client base. Designing a new and improved i4, the engineers at Nitecore had Vapers in the forefront of their ideas for upgrades and improvements.

The i2 2014 similarly has a good CC/CV charging algorithm. While the charging current is not as high as the i4 2014 in the CC phase, it doesn't seem to drop off as rapidly in the CV phase (although that could be a bit of battery variability). Again, the current run above seems the most representative of what you can expect for this unit (i.e., it takes longer to fully charge an 18650 than the i4). Termination level is again good. Active current distribution (ACD) technology allows for the dynamic distribution of the NEW i4’s charging power. For example, if two batteries are being charged in the NEW i4 and one of them completes charging, all charging power will automatically go to the other slot and charge the battery at the fastest speed.Active current distribution (ACD) technology allows for the dynamic distribution of the NEW i4's charging power. For example, if two batteries are being charged in the NEW i4 and one of them completes charging, all charging power will automatically go to the other slot and charge the battery at the fastest speed. The New i4 can charge up to 1.5A in one slot, making the maximum output 1500mA, double the output of the old i4 at 750mA. Compatible with 1.2V, 3.7V, 4.2V and 4.35V batteries, the Nitecore charger can be set using the 'V' button to select the desired voltage in each bay. The Nitecore i4 also has a timeout feature that will allow a battery to charge for up to 20 hours. Once that 20 hours expires the charger stops charging that slot, and displays a full charge status. Without it, those of us that leave our batteries in our chargers could experience a possible explosion, especially if the battery we’re charging is of low quality, like the tens of thousands of counterfeit batteries.
