About this deal

Those who choose to spread chaos, tyranny, and fear as the Separatist Alliance can wield a massive droid military. With an overwhelming number of B1 Battle Droids at your command, you can trample over any who stand in your path and—if B1 Battle Droids alone aren’t enough to secure victory—you can always send in a unit of Droidekas to provide the firepower necessary to decimate any opponents that remain standing. Slots: Heavy, personnel, training, gear, grenade. As with most corps units, the heavy and personnel slots are the most valuable and will be filled the most. The training slot further differentiates them from Phase I Clones and can be useful in certain builds. As skilled as he is, Kenobi may have met his match in General Grievous. Proudly wielding the trophy lightsabres he has collected from the Jedi he has defeated in battle, Grievous is a particularly dangerous opponent, his agility making him equally adept at avoiding damage as he is at doling it out. Within this Core Set, you’ll find one beautifully detailed General Grievous miniature that can be assembled in three different ways: with two of his trophy lightsabers and a cloak; carrying a single lightsabre and a DT-57 “Annihilator” blaster pistol while shrouded in his cloak; or with all four trophy lightsabres at the ready. Two sqauds of Phase I Clone Troops enter the fight to preserve the Republic. Five carry the DC-15A blaster rifle while two heavy weapons specialists add extra firepower with a Z-6 rotary blaster cannon and a DC-15 blaster rifle modified to fire from long range. To facilitate this, it’s important to remember that range is usually measured from mini to mini (and not unit leader) for abilities like token sharing. You can increase your coverage area by spreading out your non-leader minis towards your other units. Just be careful not to cohere them towards your opponent’s units lest you give up unnecessary free shots (your unit leader should still be your forward most mini).

A BARC Speeder miniature gives your Clone Troopers some much-needed speed as they look to out-maneuver the Separatist's battle droids and can be assembled with or without its sidecar. Those who include the sidecar can further customise their speeder with a twin laser gunner, an RPS-6 gunner, or an ion gunner. There are two upgrades we are going to hit here, but they are both good ones that are well worth their cost in the right build. Phase I Clone Specialist (11 points)This is generally not a slot you are going to be filling, as something has probably gone wrong if your Phase IIs consistently find themselves at Range 1 of enemy units. There are some niche uses, however. Impact Grenades As the Separatist Alliance spreads itself across the galaxy, brave Clone Troopers and valiant Jedi are the only thing that stand between the relentless waves of Battle Droids and total galactic domination. Soon, you can build your armies and battle for the fate of the galaxy. Beyond their personal skills, Clone Commanders have the weight of the Republic behind them and they know how to use it with three new command cards available exclusively to the Republic. Vehicles often play an important role in Republic strategy, and a Clone Commander can easily set up a

And of course, perhaps the most entertaining way you can customize your army is by painting and customizing your miniatures! All Star WarsLegion minis come unpainted, so after you assemble your army, you’ll be able to paint your miniatures into something that only you could have created. Although you don’t need to paint your miniatures, many players find it more enjoyable to play with a painted army, and even if you’ve never painted an army of miniatures before, Star WarsLegion is the perfect introduction to the hobby.

Cost: 52 points. Expensive. The same price or higher as the other factions’“veteran” corps units. You are getting some nice things for this premium, but it makes for a bit of a list building challenge when the cheapest thing you can take is 52 points. Combining the skill at arms and genetic template all clones share with further specialized training and engineering, Clone Commanders are more than capable of leading entire regiments and can be trusted with the most vital missions and battlefronts. As the leader of an
