children in general are physiologically ready for traning by 18mo - it is a cultural concept of readiness that interprets 'readiness' otherwise. Plenty of (widely ignored) evidence for that. my DCs were both dry , day and night within a week but that's because they were ready to be 'trained'Depends on the child really. My daughter was potty trained in 5 days at just under 2.6 and was dry and out of nappies at nighttime a few months after that. Smarties helped! I would agree with everyone who has said that if your little one is ready then it will be relatively straightforward. I am not a fan of Gina Fords baby books ? but this one worked a treat for ds1 and now has again with ds2. I thought it made a lot of sense and was a very reasonable, gentle approach. (e.g. If your child does not already do x,y or z then wait a while before starting, they might not be ready. Give them small rewards when they do something on the potty. Give them lots of praise for trying and don?t tell them off when they have an accident, just encourage them)

Wow! You even potty train other children! I really hope she will do a poo soon but tends to do it near bed time when we have out nappy on. I hope she's not holding it TMI sorry. For us the first day was a nightmare, second was better and by lunchtime on the third day she was dry and fully potty trained. We had always used a different brand of nappy for bedtime and thankfully she didn't demand an un-holey night-time nappy to use for daytime wees.My middle son took 6 months and was a complete nightmare.
