Because Ibuspray is delivered through the skin, directly over the painful area, there is less risk of the complications that sometimes occur when ibuprofen (or a similar anti-inflammatory painkiller) is taken by mouth. However, in rare cases you may be at risk: If you're taking the tablet that melts in your mouth, put it on your tongue, let it dissolve and then swallow. You do not need to drink any water. When taking a lozenge, put it in your mouth and allow to dissolve slowly. Do not chew or swallow it whole. You can have 1 lozenge up to 3 times a day. What if I forget to use it?
