About this deal

This program involved tapping into the underwater internet cables of companies including Google and Yahoo.

You KNOW they'll be looking for you, Will, but it doesn't occur to you that you would need a fake identity too? Overall, it would have been nice to see the romance between these two either build or strengthen in some way, rather than just taking it at face value that they love each other.I thought perhaps instead of being melodramatic, Nobody But Us might have the contemplative, deep, emotionally fraught style of If I Stay. Ich muss aber sagen, dass ich nicht so ganz weiß was ich vor den Enthüllungen und Entwicklungen halten soll. I’m not always a fan of this setting, as it can be slightly confusing, but in this instance the author, Laure Van Rensburg has pieced it together perfectly.

I suppose the only redeeming quality about this book is that it was short (only 200+ pages on my copy from Edelweiss). I wish there had been more characters or perspectives offered, which would have made this a bit more exciting, IMO. As technology advanced, this separation between offensive SIGINT, the act of intercepting adversaries communications, and defensive SIGINT, the act of protecting one's own messages, began to disappear. OBSESSED' JUNO DAWSON 'IT GRIPS LIKE A VICE' WILL DEAN 'A MUST READ FOR 2022' 5* READER REVIEW 'ADDICTIVE AND INTOXICATING' 5* READER REVIEW 'NOT ONE TO BE MISSED' EVENING STANDARD ________ He's a well-respected college professor.Ellie is getting revenge on Steven for what he’s done to countless teenaged girls, and I wanted to see him get the hell he deserves, but I could not do it. Ellie is an NYU grad student, timid but fiercely intelligent, and eager for the perfect weekend away with her boyfriend. Now, I know I’ve already spoiled the majority of the book, but it’s lowkey needed to continue on with this review. It plays its cards extremely close to the vest so I won’t say anything more about the plot so you can discover the craziness for yourself.

Nobody But us led me to believe it had everything I love about a contemporary romance book; two teens in love knowing they’re meant to be together. I would like to thank both Net Galley and Penguin Michael Joseph UK for supplying a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review. A leaked NSA memo from 2012 is quoted saying "it is becoming apparent that other nation-states are honing their skill[s] and joining the scene", evidence that the NSA is aware of the ever closing gap in capabilities. Given that this anxiety would serve no benefit, I tried to push it down inside me — like you should with all negative emotions.

This one centres around a "romantic" getaway weekend between a predator professor and a young impressionable student that goes awry. Her debut novel, Nobody But Us, follows Ellie and Steven who take their first trip away together, but what starts as an idyllic weekend soon takes a darker turn, as it quickly becomes apparent that each of them harbour secrets – and that one of those secrets is deadly. I was both charmed and appalled by the sacrifices they were willing to make for each other, and even when they did horrible, deplorable things in the name of love, I got it, because their motivations were so strong, and their bond so unbreakable.
