Our customised Large Round Paperweight is not only perfect for the job but also comes with a beautiful engraving equality. This experimental formula is apart of our newest line of colors, “the Future Line” and made from batch in Portland, OR. The cork shape on the casting model does not have a foregrip; it has a casting ring like Mojo Bass, and the guide platform is the same as Mojo Bass with Kigan Master Hand 3D black guides.

I wasn't a fan and I have many St Croix products, some custom made for me direct from the manufacturer.

They aren't nearly as sensitive or light as my mojos, but they are total workhorse rods and are well built. You can select this option for an additional cost at checkout, which then aims to deliver within 1-2 working days. Also equipped with premium components, including Kigan Master Hand 3D guides and Fuji ECS Reel Seats, the St. the glass rod doesn't have enough backbone for a heavy chatterbait or spinnerbait hookset and would feel overpowered on the cast with a decent trailer on.

Some have said it does not handle bigger crank baits well but I have used everything from a shallow square bill to deep diving and it has handled everything well. The tip is a bit faster and it has quite a bit more backbone, so it's a rather ideal rod for deep divers and spinnerbaits and chatterbaits.

Seems I will need to get something a bit heavier (probably wouldn't go full "glass" again) for deeper cranking. The 2019 green upgraded iCast "award winning" model lacked the noodleness, but was so, so, so tip heavy I couldn't think about cranking with it for long periods of time.
