Other reviewers complain (with good reason) about the unsatisfactory and abrupt end with so many open questions and loose threads as to where the author is going with this story.

That mystery will be solved in this new series, as Landon takes the spotlight and readers learn the story of his (and Tessa’s) NYU years: trying to move on from old wounds while avoiding getting hurt by new people.
