About this deal

A delightful book about how to be a kind and thoughtful friend, perfectly pitched for children starting school. There is a possible indication that Madison is either lesbian or bisexual, but the context makes it so unclear that I cannot even tell if it is perhaps meant as a joke. I will say that Gudsnuk does attempt to address the bullying and low self esteem that Danny experiences, but so much of it is handled in a joking manner that the overall affect is lost. Middle grade readers who love graphic novels about friendship and magic will want to check out this book list about the Making Friends books.

my daughter loved waiting for me to lift up the flaps before attempting to grab the book , she is at the teething stage , but later on listened and was quiet for a long while. I read a fair amount of middle grade graphic novels, many of which have lots of fantastical elements, but I've never read one quite like this. With full answers provided, this book is designed to foster academic achievement while making learning enjoyable.

Told as a story, this is also a practical guide for children to explore different ways of making friends and being inclusive. More trampling in the vineyards of the Literary Classics section, with results that will tickle fancies high and low. A perfectly judged niche story that has general appeal due to a clean text and cute character; Specs for Rex is a visual treat that's really worth putting your glasses on for. This book covers the entire process from breaking the ice, making small talk, connecting with people, dealing with rejection, etc.

Making Friends is a fun and cleverly written book that deals with a lot of topics that will be relatable to tweens and young teens: the difficulties of making, and keeping, friends, of struggling with your identity and recognizing the need to be true to yourself.Family definitely seems unable to provide Dany with a good foundation in harmony and friendship; that she has to figure out herself. This powerful book introduces children to the important topic of racism and anti-racism through accessible language and relatable examples. The brilliant Made By Dyslexia are offering free training for schools on how to create an inclusive classroom that supports Dyslexic Thinkers. If you're like me and love shoujo/general anime references, light-hearted stories, and a good laugh, then I definitely recommend it. This is an irresistible story about empathy, diversity, and the joy of making friends with people (or vegetables!

But since it’s the only book I’ve found for middle-aged and it has some great insights, I’d recommend it for someone who wants to make friends learn and how to relate to your friends. Hers is the typical tween story until she draws her favorite manga character, heartthrob villain Prince Neptune, in her eccentric aunt’s inherited sketch book. You’re not looking for a cover-it-all for social life but instead to improve your social interaction.
