Because we’re working from home more these days, we didn’t use the commuter focused upper and lower bags as much. Fold it down at the center point and fold up the bottom plate and it can be carried in one hand like a briefcase. You can fit larger items on it than you could in panniers, so if you are really intending to use your bike a lot for picking things up and transporting anything you can think of, then this will be really great. After my arrival it seemed like the Burley strap has loosened a little and the box was able to bounce around a little. The tiny wheels and flexible materials will heavily restrict what types of road surfaces one might want to pull this trailer over.

I’m also strongly considering purchasing the add-on rain cover to make this an all weather situation.Carry on looking after your good self and your family, bless you all, you brilliantly reinforce all that is good in life, your journals put me in the saddle…nearly as good as Sir Bradley Wiggins! There are integrated wheel guards, an extendable tow arm, and a wider kickstand to provide a stable platform when the trailer is standing on its own.

The Travoy Rack Mount is an available option for those who need to mount their trailer to a bike rack. it's much more comfortable to walk with the Travoy with the hitch unfolded, there is foam around the bar, and you can hold other parts of the frame too for a more ergonomic grip without constantly bumping into your heels. Election time is a good opportunity to get some as candidates hand them out free but you can usually find a few abandoned signs advertising services/products along the main streets in any city. I am going to get a masonite clipboard and fashion some sideboards myself because it is a great idea.Most of the time this really isn’t an issue but the upper case has to be folded out of the way to easily access the lower case. I agree about the flaw with the folding kickstand, I haven’t had an issue so far but it would have been better for it to be permanently open because I never close mine. When we went to Camp Mather last summer, which is a car-free and sometimes off-road environment, I used the Travoy every day to ride from our cabin to the lake.

If you choose not to send your equipment back to us for disposal then you can dispose of any electricals or electronics yourself at your local recycling centre, who will dispose of your equipment via a controlled recycling process. Some leeches for tying down more things, like a bicycle light or a strap to properly close the bag would be more useful. Flipping the trailer early on also highlighted that this trailer, despite its dainty feel, can take a beating.When it’s disconnected from the bike its essentially a sack truck that can be used to move large or heavy objects around. Before we get into the "stress testing" results, the reality of the Travoy is that it is an efficient and easily towed two-wheel trailer.

So by my opinion the 2020 Burley Travoy is better option but early version’s accessories are better designed! The 150 cm ROK Straps were barely long enough to wrap around the boxes and I had to use the smaller straps to secure the boxes further.

The first thing you need to know about the trailer is it’s not much good without the Burley Travoy bags.
