About this deal

Ergonomics wise, the lens feels great in the hand and even balances well on Fuji’s compact camera bodies. Street Photography: while focal length choice for street is highly personal, the Fujifilm XF 35mm f/1. If you are an enthusiast or pro, I could certainly recommend this lens as your first XF lens if you are contemplating the Fujifilm X Series.

As far as locking onto a static or slow moving target (in good light) the two lenses perform roughly the same. If you’re concerned only with bokeh and aren’t held back by manual focusing, you might enjoy the Mitakon 35mm f.This means that out-of-focus highlights can taker on slight color fringes, green in the background and magenta in the foreground. Yes, I totally agree – haven’t taken mine off my XT3 either, and could quite happily shoot with nothing else from now on haha! So, whatever your choice ends up being you are going to have yourself an excellent lens that is going to help you capture some amazing moments and epic imagery.

The XF 35mm F2 R WR is an excellent lens; it is smaller, lighter, quieter, faster to focus and is just a more fleshed out product in my opinion. However, when moving onto Fujifilm, I wanted something a little wider and that’s why I ended up settling on the 23mm f/2 for travel photography.

This lens is still insane and, if the 35mm focal length is something you can work with, you will love this lens. For street or environmental portraiture photographers, it's the perfect focal length for grabbing an intimate candid scene without getting confrontational with your subjects. Normally, my main focus is landscapes, and I currently have my two lenses for that, so shooting random subjects, in my mind anyway, will allow me to see how a lens performs for every situation and surface texture.

It’s a two-barrel focusing system, so the front element does bounce around as it is focusing which is not really a big deal. First, I used it for a few months at launch, then when I re-evaluated the Fuji X Pro1 after about a year and lastly after I made the decision to make Fuji X my mirrorless system of choice.Lens Review, Sample Images, Fujifilm XF 35mm f/2 R WR, Fuji XF 50mm f/1 R WR, fujifilm XC 35mm f/2, Fuji XF 35 1. It has let me down just a few times too often, with the autofocus hunting a bit in situations that didn’t seem too extreme.

It has newer and better technology inside of it and it performs better in most situations and by most criteria. No deposit is required and payments will be collected by direct debit in monthly instalments, the first instalment being collected 30 days after shipment of the product. With paperbacks and candles, with Chet Baker and endless glasses of wine twirling between your fingers. Once your application has been accepted, usually within minutes, we will immediately dispatch your equipment. To this day, my lens still works perfectly with absolutely no issues at all, so to me, it’s definitely a well-built lens.
