About this deal

I mean, I’m here for the occasional dark romance and I was excited to get to this as I’d heard lots of good things about it, but that was darker than I anticipated. The writing will transport you into a world impossible to leave behind even after you read the last page.

These sessions promptly turn into a game for Grayson where instead of being analyzed by London he starts dissecting her. I'm a professional sarcasm enthusiast, slow-burn romance addict, and honestly an idiot prone to random acts of entirely unprompted ranting over whatever story I've presently been hooked onto. All that psychopathy restrained on a leash while he's chained up and trying to push London over the edge, while she is hella turned on but still trying to maintain a sense of professionalism was just. With that purpose in mind, it actually kept me quite interested, it held certain points of suspense that made me want to read on!If you’re interested to read a book about a serial killer and a criminal psychologist who has her own secrets, I highly recommend this one.

I can’t remember the last time a book had my heart thrumming in giddy anticipation and my blood pulsing in timid excitement. Grayson might be the one behind bars and shackled, but the way he captivates London is visceral and seductive, causing her to be imprisoned by him. I’m still trying to wrap my head around what happened and quite frankly, I’m a bit of a hot mess right now.London Noble, a criminal psychologist, provides rehabilitation to inmates and convict murderers under the pretense of helping them, but in reality she’s no better than the criminals she treats. This story had most of the elements I crave in dark romance: some legal drama, forbidden romance, a female lead in a position of power, and a male lead with a strong sadistic side. I was in college waiting for a seminar to begin when I started this book, and I literally had to walk out because it was either that or put the book down, and I couldn’t put this book down goddammit! But after so many years, she no longer believes rehabilitation is possible and wants to leave that path behind her.

London and Grayson played so many games with each other that seriously, it’s a fucking miracle that my head’s still alright. This goes to some seriously dark places and requires the reader to suspend what they believe about “healthy” relationships. I’m going to do two things right now- add Wolfe to my to-look-out-for authors list and then start Born, Madly.Criminal psychologist London Noble is made to take on a new patient, a serial killer, Grayson Pierce Sullivan, who has killed nine people, yet none of their bodies have ever been recovered. It's been a while since I've read something that had me all invested and anxiously anticipating the next course of actions. Despite its twisted nature, the book is a captivating read that will keep you on the edge of your seat with its suspense and unexpected twists. In this safe haven, I can confess my excitement, my arousal at watching the woman be bound and racked until her limbs snapped.

There was so much that meets the eye when it came to these characters and knowing that there’s a darkness looming ahead, will make you literally eating out the palm of their hands in your quest to find answers. Grayson Sullivan: Convicted murderer, Killed criminals, Genius level intelligence, Obsessed with Dr. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. It's not even their romance that takes the front seat either, its our main characters developing themselves to face their own demons which was great. The story really keeps you on your toes, with loadsif twists and turns that will definitely shock you!

At times, the story could get confusing, but I learnt early that, that was the style of the flow and rhythm of the pace.
