About this deal

Pairing for the first time is also a breeze. All you have to do is to put both earbuds out of the case. This initiates the pairing mode, which makes them visible in your phone’s Bluetooth search menu. A few annoying aspects of this set are the volume control and single-use options. If you want to adjust the volume, you have to do so via your paired device, not the earbuds. Additionally, you can only use the right earbud by itself. We also found it inconvenient that you can’t adjust the volume directly with the device. Instead, you’ll have to use your paired smartphone to control the sounds. Incorrect audio settings are one of the most frequent causes of why your left earphone is quieter than your right or why your headphones continue to sound too soft even when you turn up the volume all the way. You need to make some adjustments to the settings of the original device if you insert your headphones into another device and it appears to work just fine. Audio file issue If you’re looking for an affordable set of true wireless earphones for the morning commute or gym, the Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo will do the job.

While we had no issues with connection or pairing the earbuds to a device during our testing, some users have experienced connection issues. This often seemed to boil down to the type of device paired or software issues.IPX7 Protection: SweatGuard protection creates a watertight barrier for the wireless earbuds against rain and sweat. It even resists water from the tap when you’re washing away the sweat after a hardcore workout. The sound quality on the Neos is fantastic. Properly "clean", not overly-processed. Great, balanced sound. Enough bass for my basshead tendencies. To be fair, good fit and decent bass are far more important to me than fantastic sound quality/reproduction, so I'm probably not the true authority here. But they sound pretty great to me. Not the best, but I've nothing to complain about. The look of the Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo earbuds is nothing special as the buds are understated and fly under the radar. This is to be expected, though, as they are a less expensive option. These support only SBC and AAC. This is quite fair for their price point, and even though they don’t have aptX, they still perform well in terms of video delay on Android devices. Is Video Delay a Problem? During its use, do headphones get quieter? In addition to regular wear and tear, headphones may gradually lose volume. This is a result of the sound waves it produces. The sound will then deteriorate and lose qualities like bass and volume. Conclusion

The Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo look like reference design true-wireless earbuds. The pebble-shaped charge case has a shiny, cheap plastic finish. Aside from the rubber port covering its micro-USB charge port, it’s about as unassuming as you’ll find. Thanks to testing the buds on well over a thousand ears, Anker has managed to ensure that the Neo’s offer the perfect, ergonomic fit. Outdoor runners will be pleased to hear the Liberty Neo generally offer a wonderfully stable connection. The only time I suffered regular dropouts was when moving through busy signal areas – train and underground stations, for example. The Airpods work really well for this, I’ve owned this pair for about 9 months now, and had other pairs previously, and I don’t think I’ve ever had anyone complain that they couldn’t hear me or I sounded far off etc. and I can actually hear whoever I’m talking to better than I could using the phone normally holding up to your ear like a normal phone. With the Neo’s, I haven’t had them nearly as long, but my experience with the phone calls has been that I can hear the person I’m talking to ok, but have been asked several times to speak up, or repeat myself. Advantage: solidly to the Airpods Other worthy competitors include the IP8 Donerton D-18’s, the popular Btootos Wireless Earbuds, as well as the 42-hour playtime FAMOO Wireless Earbuds.
