This cookbook from the latest series has plenty of easy-to-follow recipes for you to have a go at, including buns, biscuits, pies and pastries. One of our favourites is the raspberry and salted caramel eclairs. Delicious.My husband complains, because people say to him all the time, 'Oh, you're married to the Bake Off lady. You must get wonderful cake at home.' And he says, 'If you only knew. My house is at the cake free zone! She never bakes, and I wish I'd married Mary Berry. I should have married Mary Berry!'" Since being a contestant on series 8 of GBBO, Liam has been busy being a judge on Junior Bake Off and presenting Bake Off: The Professionals. Cheeky Treats is full of fun ideas and tip-top creations. In addition, there are 7 judge's recipes and 14 step-by-step guides to creating showstoppers. The remainder is contributed by members of the bake-off team and seems to belong to the same company. Encouragingly, after intros by Paul and Prue, there are good bios of each baker in series 9. Hollywood and Leith are both prolific authors—Hollywood has written nine books, and Leith has published 12 cookbooks, seven novels, and two memoirs. Former judge Mary Berry, too, has also penned numerous cookbooks, and an updated version of her Baking Biblecame out this past spring.
