The body of the Road Angel Halo Pro Dashcam is contoured glossy gray plastic on the top, front, and bottom and black matte plastic on the sides. For me the live coverage footage, GPS and speed information were the major selling points for this product. well anything really lol, but I have to say this looks a really good piece of kit and even I can use it with ease. Since the Road Angel Halo Pro Dashcam doesn’t have a screen, you’ll need to download the Road Angel Halo app for iOS or Android to view anything the dashcam records.

I was so super chuffed to be able to test out this Road Angel Halo View, as I have been toying with the idea of getting a dash cam for ages but just haven't got round to it.During your purchase online, you will be asked to select a fitting time and location so that an engineer can then attend your home or place of work to fit your battery for you. Not sure if this is a faulty device, but I’m having to sacrifice having the mirror wonky and rotated to account for the front cam being aligned. The biggest frustration was having to use the poorly designed app for accessing the data and changing settings on the dashcam. This gives the dash cam a constant supply of power from your car’s 12-volt battery, allowing it to record in a time-lapse mode while parked, then jump into life and start recording video when a collision is detected. If you want your position, you’ll need to find it via the map available in the live view screen on the app. I was fortunate enough to be able to test the Halo Pro front and rear dashcam package from Road Angel.However, having an engineer come and professionally fit it will not only provide peace of mind that your car will soon be up and running but also guarantees that the battery will be fitted properly. Individual frames in the video were remarkably unblurred given the speed difference, and both the front and rear cameras captured the car’s number plate. I thought the design of the packaging, choice of font and colouring of the box showed class and represented a high quality product – attractively boxed.
