If you like the whole drama fuelled relationship scandal this is your cup of tea, if not it’s like drinking tea with salt. I felt something in the pocket of a pair of shorts that he’d worn on the last day of his life, before he changed into his evening wear.

That’s what I have to do every day for the rest of their lives - try and make it OK that their daddy has died. Honestly I couldn’t wait to start reading this book each evening, if I didn’t have other commitments I wouldn’t of been able to stop.But as the story progresses and you get to know the characters in a little more depth, it all becomes clear. It didn't make sense to me that Emma couldn't stay with Adam and perhaps in their situation, a nanny would work full-time for both homes anyway. This is a story about friends who went to university together and catch up on a holiday on the Amalfi Coast. After the initial hook, the story jumps back three months as the two are holidaying in Italy with a couple of groups of friends.

I wanted to wear something of his at the funeral, and I couldn’t wear his wedding ring because he was wearing it when he drowned. Given the little reviews the book had I didn’t really know what to expect- so I thought why not go and read it myself, enjoy the journey it takes me on. Some descriptions of characters’ feelings or thoughts were repetitive and needed more ‘show’ not ‘tell.

I liked how he realized immediately when Valerie/Lisa lied and he was on board with his wife from that point. I think it was meant to infer Leah perceived he would pounce on any chance to pursue custody, and to of course set up this movie, but it was a little murky to understand. Only the nanny is (insert title here) and from that point onwards nobody cares about the plot device, it's just the world against Karen and she must fight them all to prove how amazing she is.
