Regarding the area, the tent is officially for 7 people, you have seen this in the floor plan above. The bedrooms can indeed accommodate such a number of users, but this construction is far more generous regarding its living areas. The Horizon’s boast a huge living area which has an enclosed porch area with multi use door or vent screen. The secondary door is oversized, so when open it creates one large living area giving you all the space you could ever need. And if you want even more space, there is an optional side porch available. The HiGear Horizon 400 has a fitted floor in the living area and it comes provided with a separate ground sheet for front porch area. This leaves you with the option of whether you choose to fit it or not. There are power/electricity access points on both sides of this tent. This is handy as many other tents only have them on one side, and this can mean having to run cables all around the outside of the tent or even having to pitch in different places so you can reach the electric supply.
