If you are stapling a large quantity of booklets, or an especially thick booklet, you will probably want to save time by purchasing a specialized stapler described below. Or you may want to "decoupage" a piece of legal sized paper onto a thin piece of wood or some other kind of material. If you have a large number of booklets to staple, you may wish to save effort by using the Specialized Stapler method.

Once the stapler arm is aligned, push down on the end of the upper arm until you hear the staple go through the paper. It contributes to the fabric strength, so sheets made with long staple cotton tend to fray less, get less wrinkly, and even hold the fabric dye better (so less fading over time).It can be a pain trying to reach the spine of the booklet with an ordinary stapler, but as long as the arms of your stapler can swing apart, there are at least two ways to achieve this with household materials. Make sure the booklet is aligned with the stapler, and that the margins on either side of the stapler are as close to the same width as possible.
