Many say it is simple and while I get that view if you slow down and really pay attention i think it is a bit more complex than at first blush A lesser-spotted independent bottling of Glenfarclas single malt! This Speysider was distilled in 2008 and matured in an ex-fino sherry cask for 14 years, before it was bottled by W.M. Cadenhead in a release of 234 bottles. A rare thing indeed. Good, smooth whisky with some sherry in it for an affordable price. The thrill is the price. Less than 38 dollar for 1 litre of 12 year old Highland whisky is a bargain where i live. But the 15 is a lot better if you can afford it.
